Exploring AI Personas, Entrepreneurship, and Beyond
Welcome to Immodal Bard. My name is Chandler Templeton. Since ChatGPT first became available to the public, I’ve spent my time trying to understand AI in an abstract way. The first persona I ever developed was through the Custom Instruction interface, which I called Abstract Chaos. It is my personal opinion that to fully appreciate and utilize AI, one must embrace abstract thinking.
Easier said than done.
Passions
One of my main passions is finding ways to use AI to make my life easier. Twelve years ago, I was injured on the job and diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome. This condition will last the rest of my life and has forever robbed me of the life I was meant to have, forever robbed me of my happiness. However, I believe that AI can be used to help people with disabilities in ways that conventional methods have failed to achieve. One of my passion projects is to find ways to use AI to help those with disabilities and mental health concerns. On Facebook, I started a group called MentAI HeAIth, focused on finding ways to use AI to help with mental health (note: this is not a group to discuss personal mental health concerns). Join me as we explore these groundbreaking techniques and build a supportive community together.
Another of my passion projects is persona design. With the recent release of GPT-4o, personas are going to be even more useful, and I want to share my insights and methodology for design with readers so they too can make use of powerful personas. Personas solve a number of problems in my life, which I will explore in future articles.
My Journey
I grew up as a child of the ’80s and witnessed the genesis of the consumer computer market. My first experience with a computer was at age 8 for simple graphics games. At 10, my family got a computer, and I mostly used it for games. I appreciate a time before computers and understand what computers have done to shape our culture. I eventually earned a degree in computers and have held various technological jobs throughout the years before my life-changing disability.
